Meet The Team
After working for over twelve years as an IT reseller, from 2013, James devoted a substantial amount of time to building Gridserve from the ground up. Working from a shed in his garden for the first three years and thriving from recommendation alone, Gridserve blossomed into a trusted and transparent business establishing the headquarters in the centre of Calne, where we are currently based.
Perm has over fifteen years experience in the IT industry including four years in leadership positions. Perm is responsible for all day-to-day customer management alongside working on the long and short term Gridserve goals.
Andy is an experienced technical support leader with over 12 years of exposure to various systems. Throughout his career, he has delivered and supported multiple technical solutions for various businesses to aid their growth and increase their efficiency. Andy prides himself on being able to provide comprehensive and reliable outcomes that fulfils the need of the task in hand.
After having a keen interest in IT from a young age, Paul attended college completing an IT diploma, he then went on to spend 12 years within the IT industry. In his time, he has also gone on to complete the Comptia A+ certification. Paul enjoys approaching issues logically and finds this can be applied in many areas of life.
Joining the Gridserve team in July 2019, John brings with him over 25 years of experience in IT across both support and project activities.
During a Computer Games Design course in college late 2012, Jack discovered his passion for computer hardware & learning about how the hardware works and interacts with the world around us.
Mary-Kate joined the administration team in September 2020 and looks after the Finance Adminstration. Mary-Kate has gained diverse and extensive knowledge and experience in a variety of roles since going straight into full time employment from leaving school. She has continued to learn new skills whilst working with Gridserve.
No not the rugby player and no, not the celebrity chef, but our very own Phil Vickery (seen here below in the picture) has been within the IT industry for 25 years and has worked with a number of blue chip companies, banking institutes and households names in a variety of disciplines from Service Desk to Project Management to Consultancy. The past 10 years have been dedicated to the Education sector focussing on a wide range of technologies designed to bring ICT integration to the entire school establishment.
Dan has always been fascinated with technology, "even as a child I would help my Father with designing and building PC’s. This foundation has allowed me to excel in the career path I have chosen. Bubbly, charismatic and dedicated to my career, I have been working in the IT industry since the age of 21. As an IT Technician you are always learning, this allows me to progress further than I thought before. ‘I find some sort of tranquillity when an issue has been investigated, every problem has a solution!’"
Graham spent twenty years in Theatre as a technician before moving into school IT via site. Graham has always loved IT and loves working in the school environment and the sometimes bizarre challenges it throws him!
Tanya spent 16 years teaching in a primary school before moving to their ICT department in 2009. She enjoys computing and solving puzzles - a perfect combination for the role of IT Technician!
